Government and the US Constitution

The US Constitution was originally intended to create a governmental system that truly respects liberty. In more ways than one, however, the Constitution actually limited personal liberties and was not designed to create a complete democracy. Lastly, the media is a huge influence on the way the government works, the way the people feel about issues, and about the way laws and issues are generally presented. The mass media influences the beliefs of the citizens, thus influencing their decisions on laws. This generally influences the way the government works in the future.
