By controlling it, we have created an unstoppable weapon, a clean source of energy, and many innovations in the field of medicine. This subject has been one of the most controversial, and continues to be, even today. While there are so many great things that are done with the atom, some say that the by-product, nuclear waste, far outweighs the benefits.
