…each person must be looked upon differently. Grey owl became what he thought all Indians were. Unfortunately, he was not alone. Many people viewed Indians the same way he had. It is not fair to say that all Indians wore feathers and lived in the forest. In conclusion, Grey Owl realized that sometimes, things aren't always as they seem. Feathers and braids don't make a man an Indian, they make a man an Indian stereotype.
