…for a reduction in youth gun homicides. In 1996 and 1997 there were no youth gun related homicides in the city of Boston. The total reduction percentage for Boston was reduced sixty percent in six years. I believe if we take the time to talk to our children about guns, and enforce the existing laws, the terrible death statistics will change. I believe our society needs a lot of work. This work needs to begin at home.
