…If a patient truly believes he or she is cured and their body biologically adjusts, then is there any harm in the treatment? Does it not become effective simply due to the fact that it is believed to be effective? The ritual is not at all like its European festival counterpart, the purpose being healing rather than recreation. However, the drug is still categorized as a recreational, and therefore illegal drug due to western influences.
