Day after day in a world filled with torture and pain, slaves suffered servile lives under the feet of an overseer. During these times, when freedom and liberty were merely the topics of dreams, one outstanding slave named Harriet Tubman set out to make her dream a reality. She possessed tremendous courage which
didn't like your background, ethnicity, race or class they wouldn't hire you and/or exclude you from society. Harriett was one of the people that realized the cruelty that many people were going through. Using her bravery and strength, she managed to influence the future of America by taking a stand. If Harriett Tubman had not taken the brave actions that she took, the United States that we know today may not be the same.
