…sensory stimulation and emotional nurturing as an aphrodisiac? Does the term refer to anything other than mind-altering substances? This is the question I have been forced to battle throughout researching this paper. When faced with the question of naming a few aphrodisiacs, most people had trouble defining the term while staying within their definitions. Through careful observation and examination, I motion to change the definition of aphrodisiac to include all psychological, emotional and sensory stimulants.
