My high school English literature teacher was usually hung over at our Monday class. My history teacher never changed his tie or socks, and my homeroom teacher slept her way through our basketball team. …overstated. Religionists blame sex education programs for teenage pregnancy; juvenile delinquency is blamed on "weak" fathers or absent father figures and the inability to read on our school system. Certainly these factors are important; but, ultimately, each individual is responsible for his or her life and future. The best school system in the world cannot make a genius or even a good student. Only desire, determination, sacrifice and the ability to accept personal responsibility will.
