Hiroshima, Tragedy or Necessity The atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was completely unjustified as a means to end the war with Japan. The impact of conventional bombing of the Japanese homeland had completely destroyed Japans infrastructure, industry, and demoralized the populist.
