…it has made me more interested about other cultures and made me consider studying abroad for a semester or two. The importance of intercultural communication is obvious in order to be able to connect with individuals like Mr. Alvarez, or wanting to travel to other territories and be to communicate and interact. Being able to embrace and accept the beliefs, norms, and values of other cultures is also a must and part of intercultural communication.
