…trying to gain all the power into his own hands. Since his death, historians have looked at Jackson as very controversial. He was an aggressive, charismatic, and intimidating person. He is either disliked or liked, but almost all historians will agree that he was great president. Jackson took on a more heroic character as a leader of frontiersmen who in the end made life better for the common man, and the nation as a whole.
