Jane McCrea

The year of revolution was at hand and the land was split into two sides. These two sides saw no resolution and became enemies. Two groups had formed out of the Revolution, the Tories (loyal to England), and the Whigs (favoring independence). In the beginning the two groups lived in peace and unison. …died. But it is certain that however she died, she will be remembered. The colonists found a common interest with the death of Jane McCrea. Fighting for country and family. For the love of Jane McCrea, the colonists overtook a powerful army and general thus destroying the British Plan of 1777. Jane McCrea was the key to the colonies success just by dying for her country. Her love withstood any army, and motivated colonists to success.
