…nerves changed into energy. I had had enough rehearsal time to know that I can latch on to body memory. Ballet was like a sport, very tough on my body. Eventually there was a time when I couldn't leap so easily. And so I made a decision around my late thirties that it was time to go. Now I am 56 and am telling my children about the dreams that I had fulfilled through my ballet.
