…place. Once the patient learns acceptance for the past, memory of those past events can no longer trigger MPD. Family members and friends need to learn to accept MPD as well, as even a completely normal person can develop mental problems if everyone around them treats them like they are some sort of freak. Treat them as if they never had it, and don't tell a soul about it, ever! Basically, just learn to relax.
