Areas that are being hit hard are: Medicare, Defense, and Welfare (check chart one for breakdown). Also new, the unemployment breakdown came out and the economy has not lost a step. Despite the unemployment rate increasing from 5.2% to 5.3%, there is no fear of inflation. Payrolls also showed growth while the labor force expanded and the workers' hours decreased.
