…thought that by simply standing idle they would eventually be given the freedom that America is based upon. Unfortunately, this is just not the case. The only way for any oppressed group of people to achieve equal rights is to commit acts of violence like this. Only then will people begin to listen that though this nation was created under god with justice for all, that justice is not always given out equally to all.
