male maquiladora worker. Health and Safety measures are non- existent or minimal in most some factories, thus not protecting the workers from basic safety issues. Wages are extremely low and barely cover the cost of living for most workers, and finally, female workers face daily harassment from other male workers, especially those in a position of authority. These issues can no longer be ignored, as they will continue to grow, affecting more and more people.
