…Training Center in 1938 in Laren, Netherlands. In 1939, she founded a series of teacher training courses in India. Maria Montessori also wrote two books. In 1912, Dr. Montessori published The Montessori Method. Later in 1917, she published the Advanced Montessori Method. In 1949, 1950, and in 1951, she was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. In 1592, Maria Montessori died in Noordwijk, Holland. However, here work lived on through the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). Montessori Schools are existent around the world today.
