Matthew 7:1-6

It's very easy to see the faults, mistakes, and problems that other people have. These shortcomings are so obvious on others and they are there for everybody. Even the President can't get all his policies in order. Even sports heros sometimes don't make the winning basket or don't hit the winning home run. Even pastors miss the point on sermons or fail to take care of someone in need. Even your spouse and your parents …

…we will always have faults and we will always have sins. Yes, what we do won't cure faults and sins, but what God does has already cured the problem. Jesus came to earth and died as a sacrifice so that we might be forgiven and then he rose from death to share eternity with his followers. God doesn't do this for perfect people, those without faults and sins, God does this for you and me.
