Why does the media have such an influence on today's society? Are people really as shallow as they are on talk shows? In some cases yes, but in other cases people have better morals for themselves. You do not have to worry about trashy people being guests, and taking the chance of your young children picking up on their different obscene gestures or language. These are just two shows out of the many ones that show that not everyone likes to humiliate people for a living. Not everyone likes to watch people degrade themselves for American entertainment.
