Miles Davis Bio

Miles Dewey Davis was born on May 25, 1926. Born in Illinois and raised in St. Lewis, Miles Davis had an early fiscination with music. He collected records of many famous musicians and at age 13, he recieved a trumpet. After devoting much of his time to his music, he became a professional musician at age 16. On September 28, 1991, at the age of 65, Miles Dewey Davis died. In his life, Miles had married 3 times, and had 3 sons and a daughter. Miles Davis was a very important figure in our history, because he shaped the way music is today.
