Mold My topic was mold. Unlike mildew, mold grows when something gets old. Mold and mildew have some things in common: they can both grow on leather, and clothes but only mold can also grow on food too. …was spots. The breads mold is a greenish- blackish color and it is also growing foxy white mold. My results showed that my hypothesis was correct. My conclusion would be that mold grows at different rates on different foods depending on the temperature and the humidity. If I were to this project differently, I would start a lot earlier and I would do my manipulated variable as different temperatures and keep the food the same.
