Over the past seven weeks I have learned a number of things about Organizational Behavior. The topic I found most interesting and valuable was motivating individuals and groups in organizations. Throughout the information in this paper it is important to remember that a manager must first motivate himself or herself in order to effectively motivate others and it is critical that managers know what they want from their employees. to discover and develop my talents, which has keep me engaged in my work. It has also built up my self-esteem and confidence working with groups. One manager used to tell me that my strengths need to utilized in order for me to grow within the organization, and she was right. When managers engage employees and or groups, companies will reap reward in lower turnover and higher productivity. Employees and customers will both be satisfied.
