…up the movie, it can be seen that all the events that happened to Eliza are related to events that happened to women during the Victorian period. Eliza was a lower class female who suffered by the commands and insults of a man who was of upper class. Once she reached the upper class standard Eliza was ignored by the hands that created her. She finally fought back and won the respect of this man.
