It has helped many Asian, European, African, and American countries gain their independence like India, Haiti, Lebanon and many other countries. Nationalism has helped unify many countries to revolt against their own government and make a citizens right be heard and followed through. Nationalism in the twentieth century has also caused many wars, however the aftermath of these wars have been positive towards our world today.
