"Newspaper- Janice Sauco"- art criticism in newspaper format.

In the Cranston Library, there was an exhibition by an artist named Janice Sauco. Not only displaying her unique talents she was also advertising her artwork and classes. The cost ranges from 90 to 600 dollars depending on the size and medium. The majority of paintings are made from watercolor. She has house portraits, pets, animals, murals, and ocean landscape. …and some areas were literally scratched out to add texture and patterns to the fur of the cat. On the left side, warm colors are used. To balance the colors a bit come cool colors were used on the warm side, for instance it is used on the cat's paw. The yellows and blues diverge together to make green. How she applied the colors seems to look like a pattern or gives a textural illusion.
