O brother where art thou, and the Odyssey Prompt: Creatures encountered in the film and the text- how are they similar/ different?

When the film O Bother Where Art Thou first started, I was unable to make any correlation between that and The Odyssey, but as it progressed I soon was able to follow the plot and match creatures to their ancient Greek counterparts. …amp;lt;Tab/>So overall most of the main creatures in The Odyssey have a modern counterpart in the movie O Bother Where Art Thou, but, some of these creatures are portrayed more accurately than others. Also when a story is told in a way that is more comprehendible to the viewer than they are more easily able to formulate opinions, and find a deeper symbolic meaning for the story, and its characters.
