In the Odyssey, Homer created the character Odysseus. There are many sides to his personality. The book shows Odysseus as a family man. It shows him as a compassionate man. Obviously, Odysseus has many special attributes. These characteristics help him on his journey back home. He shows love for his friends, family, and home. He's kind and patient. He also has flaws that we as humans can relate to.
