On Mark Danner's "The Massacre at El Mozote"

In December of 1981, an event transpired which would go down in history as not only one of the biggest massacres in El Salvador's history, but in that of the rest of Latin America as well. …Also, his keen eye for detail and no-holds-barred approach to describing the events which transpired around the Mozote region only sadly prove that sometimes fact is undoubtedly stranger than fiction. With the presentation of multiple views on the topic, Danner does a great job of further publicizing an event which is not nearly as well known as it should be; the horrendous slaughter of over 500 people at El Mozote and more in the surrounding regions.
