Basically, if two living things can think therefore existing, and can perceive each other which solidifies reality for each self, then both must exist at the same time. If that's true, then an object therefore can exist dependent from the person doing the perceiving of the object. Perceiver exists, object exists, and so reality is more than just what is perceived through the senses.
