OverClocking CPUs
What CPU is More Stable When Over-Clocked What CPU is more stable when over-clocked? That is a good question and that is what got me interested in this project. One day a couple years, back I got a relatively old computer and I was upset at how slow it was and decided to find out if it was possible to make it go faster. For a long time I looked and did not see anything
be over-clocked for particular reasons. The 233 MHz was already over-clocked by Sony. I know this because the BIOS saw the chip as a 133 MHz when I set the jumper on setup instead of normal. The 350 MHz had a multiplier lock on it I could not remove, oddly enough. The 1.2 GHz machine was over-clocked by about 100 MHz to a 1.3 GHz before it became somewhat unstable. I never got to the 750 MHz AMD because of time constraints.
