Papal letter: Nostra Aetate Declaration

The Nostra Aetate declaration means "In our Time" in Latin and is from the first line of the declaration as is customary with Roman Catholic documents. The U.S. lead efforts to oppose anti-Semitism and religious intolerance worldwide when the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill on November 7, 2005 supporting this. Nostra Aetate was a very good declaration and held great promise for the future -- promise that only would be fulfilled if Catholics bore in mind that its solemn declaration was not the end of the story but only the beginning.
