The American Revolutionary war was the time were the colonist rebelled against the British Attacks. The British were in control of all of the colonies. The militia although they started out as simple farmers, bankers, priest, and young boys they created a team of individuals that have come to be the United States Army which was established 1778 that goes to show the American Revolutionary War was a Dramatic turning point in the pursuit for independence which the simple colonist gained in that war.
