Pluto The International Astronomical Union or IAU, was highly critisized for the rumor that Pluto's status as one of the nine planets of our solar system might be changed. …would be like dismissing any discovery about Pluto. How can we dismiss a planet after it has been considered a planet for so long. We need to study Pluto more before we can make a decision on wether or not to exclude it as a planet.
