Management Woes Children's Hospital and Health System, Inc. (CHHS) is a wonderful place to work, and I have been fortunate to have spent the last five years employed there. Unfortunately like any company, CHHS also has its issues. If there were any one thing that I could change at CHHS, it would be the position held by the Director of Information Services (IS) Technical Services. …the problems appear to be the same. I would ask "What is the common denominator in this situation?" The Director of Technical Services is wonderful on a personal level, but I do not feel he is in the appropriate position for his knowledge and expertise. The staff would be better served with a person more qualified for the position, and one that has the stand-up personality that is often necessary in the field of technology.
