Power and Gender Roles.

When it comes to power struggles, I have observed that while the motive behind the actions of men and women are often the same, the actions themselves are somewhat different. I think that this is mainly a result of cultural and societal expectations placed on either sex, and not rooted in any biological difference between the two. …if a man presented an argument to me that I felt was completely wrong, and then presented the same argument to me, only this time with an improved appearance, I can't imagine being persuaded to change my mind solely on the basis of his looks. Yet I believe that this happens all the time when women are trying to persuade men. Men will usually listen to a woman, only if they like what they see.
