How was Primo Levi and the other like him dehumanized in order to survive? There are many points in the book where this comes up but three most rememberable and important ones. The first and most important is that these people live from day to day by stealing from the sick and healthy alike. Another is the permanent marks they will have on there body. …or to die. I know, reading this account, that I would not have survived; I would have been among the drowned. And quickly. In the book, Survival in Auschwitz, Author Primo Levi describes the method used by imamates to survive the concentration camps. However the inmates were forced to give up there humanity in order to do so. Using examples in the book, describe the dehumanization of inmates that was required in order to survive.
