Protestant Reformation in England

England was a very isolated place in Europe during the period of the Protestant Reformation. Although Protestantism was tearing apart the rest of Europe, it took on a different form in England, taking on much of the doctrines and practices of the Catholic Church. The alienation that the people felt from the Catholic Church- Again, partly due to Henry's efforts- also contributed to the rise of Protestantism in the region. Henry was a quirky fellow, but there is no doubting the influence he had on the region. Many of which have lasted for centuries.
