…Closely looking at sports can help us change the societal problems. But if we ignore the signs around us we will forever be imbedded in racism and have a Benson 11 fear of one another. This paper was meant to counterbalance all of the writing about the joys of sports with a critical look at the less positive side. Sports are a reflection of society, and in that, it reflects both the positive and negative effects.
