What is religion? What is the role of religion in our lives? Religion has been described as a belief in god.... Belief that is without any reason except that god is there to be worshiped than to be questioned. But another meaning of the word could be the belief of a person in his own self, and has nothing to do with god at all. So then religion could be any kind of feeling, force …

…the slightest suggestion or comment could offend or delight a person. Religion indeed can be very beneficial, or on the contrary very harmful, or even have no influence at all whether it is positive or negative. I say it is always worth the risk. This class has made me think of religion from different points of views, from different people, cultures and societies throughout the world. I now have a better understanding of world religions.
