Religion paper

The reason that people study history today is to better grasp they way in which people lived in the past and furthermore the impact that these events have on contemporary society today. In this paper I will examine the structure of government today and illustrate how history has shaped this. …forward by Muslim fundamentalists to justify indiscriminate violence against those who oppose their religion; the infidels. Thus in the final summation, the lessons learned this semester have been invaluable and have served to give me a better understanding of the reasons and roots of tensions between different countries, ethnicities and religions. Furthermore, it has allowed me to compare societies then to society now and has leant truth to the term that history often repeats itself.
