…of prostitution and finds herself alone and empty while Tyrone winds up serving a long sentence in jail and remembers promising his grandmother that he would make something of his life. The addiction to these drugs has done nothing but cause harm for each of these characters and the film does an excellent job of depicting the reality of drug addiction. Requiem For a Dream, though quite graphic, gets the point across with extreme profoundness.
