In conclusion I believe that Reservoir does not show the typical conventions of the gangster genre and that Quentin Tarintino has made the conscience decision not to include these conventions because he knew that his film would be using a idea that had been exhausted and by not using the typical conventions he was able to produce a interesting twist on the genre that was very commercially successful.
