Review of Agamemnon and His Daughters. A play classified as a Greek Tragedy.
The first scene opened with Artemis. She explained who she was, and why she was looking for a sacrifice from Agamemnon. This set the ball rolling for the rest of the play. It was interesting how key female members of the tale, Helen, and Iphegenia, avoided certain death, which left them available to be tied in, with the rest of the plot. What seemed like a pretty stiff punishment to Agamemnon for shooting a deer
popular with society. It is the responsibility of the individual, to make a moral decision of what is right and wrong, and not blindly follow their religious beliefs when it contradicts the moral code of humanity, lest you and all your family suffer an eternal curse. I don't know if this is close to what you were looking for, but this is my overall reaction to the play. I would give it a 2 thumbs up!
