Rock and Roll

• There were many musical sources that made up rock and roll. In fact most and if not all the “artists who could have been considered rock and musicians prior to 1955” were black except for Bill Haley and his comets. …en hit Hollywood, and that really got the publics attention. It was forcing actors and writers out of work once they became “blacklisted”. Schools even had anti-communistic groups. Everyone in the American culture could be blacklisted. As already mentioned above, it ranged form high ranking politicians to stars of Hollywood, to the local college teacher.
