Santa Fe Trail

Santa Fe Trail The Santa Fe Trail was one of the longest routes in the United States in the prerail- road era. It was about nine-hundred or so miles long. The original eastern terminus was Franklin, Missouri, but later the town was destroyed by a massive flood and the terminus was changed to Independence, Missouri which is farther west. The trail for most Americans ended in La Villa Real de Santa Fe de San Francisco …

…and because of the trail many Mexican people have settled here in the United States to lead a better life. If it was not for the Santa Fe Trail there would not be as many unique cultures and developed cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco to the west. And because these cities contribute so much to the United States culture we would not be as unique a country as we are.
