Savagery and Chaos WRITTEN ON THE MOVE"tHE LORD OF THE FLIES"

In the movie "The Lord of the Flies" a group of civilized boys is marooned on a remote island, without any adults or supplies. The boys start out with a civilized democratic society. It slowly turns into a savage chaotic society. At the begging of the movie we were introduced to Ralph and Jack. At first Ralph and Jack agree that there should be rules to help govern themselves until they are rescued. This led …

…a beacon to help the boys get rescued, then used as a savage way to find Ralph and at the same time probably resulted in the boys getting rescued. As the movie ended, we were shown the evil Jack and the other boys sobbing. They had been lawless savages when there was no supervision on the island, but now that there is an adult the boys have reverted back to their civilized way of life.
