The view that religion should be in schools, is a view usually put across by people of faith, and is not a general view. Also, some religious leaders would rather have no religion taught, instead of an eclectic mixture of religions taught, which put no emphasis on any particular one as actually being "true", as dangerous, and leading to moral relativism.
