…surfaces did. And after the 10 min. when we turned the lamp off, the soil still had a higher temperuate then the water did. This takes about 10 min. for it all to cool back down and to both have the same temperatures at the end. Conclusion: By looking at the graph, you can conclude that the dark rough soil obsorbed more of the lamps energy then the water did. Any dark rough surface will do this.
