…neither prohibited nor guaranteed in scientific explanations. However there is room for influence depending on how one fills in details (Ratzsch 143). Ratzsch does an excellent job of providing a fairly easy way to understand this difficult subject. Although there were a few points that I was suspect on, for the most part his understanding of the issues as well as his explanations for why he believes the way he does were very persuasive and informative.
